Morteza achieved his M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2020, during which he investigated the kinematics of the human spine using motion analysis. In more detail, his M.Sc. thesis title was “spinal segment ranges of motion, movement coordination, and three-dimensional kinematics during occupational activities in normal-weight and obese individuals.
Since July 2023 he started his PhD in the Department of Training and Movement Sciences at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. His PhD project focuses on muscle mechanics and muscle-tendon unit interaction during perturbed locomotion.
