Michael Wirski is studying sport science in the bachelor degree course at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Since June 2019 he has been employed as a student assistant in the Department of Training and Movement Sciences. Before his studies he worked as a physiotherapist.

In addition to his studies, he is an active sport climber and martial arts trainer.
