Since 2015 Dr. Trümper has been a member of the department of training and movement sciences at the Humboldt-University of Berlin.
From 2010 to 2012 he worked as a lecturer in the practical (racket and team sports) and theoretical (diagnosis and training) education at the Georg-August University of Göttingen.
From 2012 to 2015 he worked as a teacher in sports and philosophy at the Realschule Steinhagen and as an academic at the department of sports medicine at the University of Bielefeld, where he graduated as PhD in 2009.
His main focus in teaching is in the topic of sports and movement in the modules of study DMS 2 (Badminton) and DMS 4 (trend, health and integration).
